A three-day festival to honour mushrooms is organised as a collaboration of the Youth Centre of Taxiarchis, the Cultural Centre of Polygyros, Women of Taxiarchis’ Association, as well as the Athletic association. Three days filled with tradition, music, dance, and of course… the aroma of mushrooms!
From September 18 to 20, Taxiarchis invites us to experience firsthand a beautiful festival dedicated to nature, tradition, and our homeland.

Friday
- The event kicks off with the mushroom party. Be there at 21!

Saturday
- Mushroom seminar and mushroom pie cooking workshop
- Location: Women's Association Building of Taxiarchis, time: 18:00
- Folk dance celebration.
- Location: Women's Association Building of Taxiarchis, time: 19:00
- Folk dance celebration and Panigyri (feast) with live music
- Location: Central square of Taxiarchis, time: 20:00
Sunday
- Morning hike
- Location: Starting from the Forest service, Time: 10:00
